Reviews of TA-80
Faster and Louder
“Fun, anthemic music that begs to be played loud while you make your way from the roller rink to the basement show to the diner that never closes. Expect shredding guitars, shout-along choruses, and hooks that never quit…If I had to pick one band on Earth that I’d most want to drink beers with, this would be the one.”
Razorcake Magazine
“‘Open Late’ is a non-stop pop punk party with high energy, tight melodies, and playful and clever lyrics. The album excels at world building with each track pulling in the listener for the full TA-80 party experience…Overall, Open Late is infectious fun that will have you dancing and singing along.”
Maximum Rock N Roll
“This is pop punk in the non-pejorative sense, meaning it is loaded with massive hooks and anthemic sing-alongs with enough melody to infiltrate even the most resistant ear.”
Jerseybeat.com
“Like all those bands that broke the mold back in the day like Stiff Little Fingers, X, Lena Lovich, and the Runaways, TA-80 have that vibe that draws you.”
